Target Calculator
Target Calculator is a native Business Central extension that measures performance against the targets you define. It groups source records (for example by salesperson, customer, or item), sums a value over a period (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly), and reports the achievement percentage against each target. It can also evaluate goal tiers and trigger action plans when a result is reached. Everything runs inside Business Central - no external services. Calculations run on demand from the configuration card, or automatically through standard Job Queue Entries.What you can do
- Define a Target Configuration that points at any BC table as its data source.
- Set targets per group (e.g. a sales target per salesperson).
- Define goal tiers (e.g. Bronze / Silver / Gold at rising percentages).
- Include or exclude records with filters.
- Trigger action plans automatically when a goal is met.
- Review calculation results with achievement percentages and status.
- Optionally route results through approval before posting actions.
